I set up this website in 2017 when I was a high school freshman in the U.S.

I was born in the U.S. in 2001, and I absorbed the Chinese language and culture from my parents while I was growing up.

I made this website to help the impoverished Chinese students reach their life's dreams. I hope my efforts can help the kids throughout their lives.

Yingqin Tian was from Small River village, Wongan County in Guizhou Province.

She is currently residing in New York City.

We performed on violins at the Small River School
on Christmas Day, 2017

On Christmas Day, 2017, I went to the mountain school with my mother and uncle and, with my mother, played a violin duet for the students. This elementary school does not have any music stand, so the principal and a teacher held up the sheet music for us. The school had no auditorium or room large enough to hold all the students at once, so we had to perform outdoors in order for the whole school to see and hear violins in person for the first time. It was so cold and windy that my mother and I had to wear winter jackets.

Liaison, Mr. Jin You

Mr. Jin You lives in Guiyang city, Guizhou province. He helps contact the schools.

During my visit to Guizhou province, he drove me to both Ze Bo's school in Dushan County and to the Small River Elementary School in Wongan County.

To drive to Dushan takes 2.5 hours, and to drive to remote Wongan takes 3.5 hours through the mountains.

In 2010, I was involved in a fundraising event called Jump Rope for Heart at M.C. Riley Elementary School. I was eager to earn the prizes, so my mother and I walked around the neighborhood and collected over $200 to donate to this program. This sparked a want to start donating to the children who have dreams that cannot be reached without a little support. Starting with a list of impoverished children that my mother found, I begin there.

In the future, I plan to also research and support researches for fighting cancers. I want to help men’s life.
